Newborn Photography Session for Baby Albert at 14 Days Old
There are some stories that remain close to our hearts and little Albert’s journey is one of them. This precious baby boy has been part of our studio’s story even before he was born. We had the joy of photographing him while he was still in his mother’s belly and welcoming him back for his newborn session felt so beautifully.
Captured when Albert was just 14 days old, this session took place during the ideal window for newborn photography. The first two weeks of life, up to a maximum of 4 weeks are perfect for capturing those sleepy poses, soft expressions and delicate details that change so quickly.
For baby Albert’s newborn session, his mum chose a soothing boho theme – creamy colours and wooden textures. We created a cozy setup with layers of beige toned wraps placed inside a rustic wooden basket. Behind him, the backdrop was styled with pampas and dried wheat, providing a structured texture that allowed Albert to remain the central focus.
The palette and textures not only complemented baby Albert’s soft skin tones but also gave the entire set a warm earth-inspired feel – perfect for a newborn photoshoot.
What made this session even more special was seeing the bond between Albert and his sweet big brother. He was so excited to welcome his new sibling and the joy on his face made for some of the most heartfelt family images we’ve captured. Their connection was playful and affectionate and we made sure to reflect that in the images.
Throughout the session, we focused on gently posed newborn portraits – from soft hands and tiny toes to calm expressions. With neutral backdrops and warm light throughout, the final collection maintains a consistent tone. It’s an ideal newborn photoshoot result: beautifully styled, professionally captured and made for families seeking natural newborn photography.
We recommend scheduling newborn photoshoots within the first 5 to 14 days after birth, while babies are still sleepy and easily posed. However, sessions can still be booked up to 4 weeks of age.
