Dave and Tania didn’t do a wedding, they threw a riot of love at God’s Own Junkyard. Neon lights, leather, lace and chaos collided with every perfectly planned detail - and it worked! They came from opposite corners of the world into this single, electric moment. No traditions, no scripts, just grit, vows and a love that refuses to follow the rules. If this is your vibe and you want your story captured with the same fearless energy, I’m here for it.
Neon lights, skull motifs and retro signs made God’s Own Junkyard the perfect setting for Dave and Tania’s wedding - a place that broke all the usual rules. Every guest, including the bride and groom dressed to match the rebellious theme of the venue. Tania wore a sexy white dress crowned with a striking death skull crown that gave her a regal, fierce look. Dave matched her energy with a custom outfit detailed with skull buttons, tying their looks perfectly to the wedding’s punk spirit.

Accessories aren’t just extras, they are the heartbeat of this truly personalised wedding. At Dave and Tania’s wedding where bold choices ruled, the accessories spoke loudest and tied every element perfectly together.

A striking black and gold cake, featuring two skull toppers and matching cupcakes with yellow roses, drew everyone’s attention.
Another detail was the engraved wedding bands set against a skull-shaped box, a tiny statement of unconventional love, capturing entirely the wedding’s punk-style.
Guests had a selection of themed tattoos to choose from, letting everyone join in the couple’s story and add their own touch of punk flair. These details weren’t mere decorations, they were powerful expressions of identity.
Every accessory added depth and personality, making this wedding an inspiring example of alternative wedding details. Capturing their day, I felt they truly let me into their world, sharing their love for dark, unconventional details while being genuinely kind, approachable and delightfully welcoming.

The ceremony happened right inside God's Own Junkyard, a hidden gem in Walthamstow known for its neon signs and quirky vibe. It was the perfect place for Dave and Tania to say their vows - nothing like your usual wedding hall.
The lovely registrars from Walthamstow Town Hall did a great job leading the ceremony, adding some light moments to keep things fun and relaxed. They really made the day feel personal and friendly, which suited the couple and their guests. Everyone was clearly enjoying the mix of ceremony and atmosphere.
As a photographer, I loved the vibes and colors of this venue. The neon lights gave the photos something extra - a bit of edge and raw energy that fit the day. God's Own Junkyard is definitely a spot for couples who want their wedding to stand out from the usual.
Creative and colorful portraits bring a dynamic edge to wedding photography. For Dave and Tania’s wedding, we used a kaleidoscope lens which multiplied the neon lights, turning them into a chaotic glare that added an electrifying edge to every shot and a surreal, edgy twist to the portraits.
The resulting photos are striking, filled with dynamic shapes and colors that give each moment a new dimension. These portraits turn ordinary moments into extraordinary memories, perfectly reflecting the couple’s unique style and the atmosphere of their wedding.
