Maternity Photography FAQs
When is the best time to have a maternity photoshoot?
Any time between 28-36 weeks usually works well for a maternity photoshoot as your bump will be clearly showing and is unlikely to have dropped yet. If you are expecting twins or more, then the shoot is usually done a bit earlier between 26-32 weeks.
Can I have photos taken after 36 weeks?
While it is possible to have maternity photos taken after 36 weeks, it’s important to keep in mind that you may be feeling less comfortable. The last weeks of pregnancy can be physically demanding and there may be risks involved, especially if you’re nearing your due date.
How can I contact you?
You can reach us through by WhatsApp for a quick response and also by our contact form or email us at info@inspirestudios.ltd
Can parents and siblings be included in the session?
The parents or other family members can participate in the photo session depending on the package chosen.
How long does a maternity photoshoot last?
The duration of a maternity photoshoot depends on the package you choose, but typically sessions last between 1 to 2 hours. This includes time for background and outfit changes and posing guidance.
What happens if I'm late?
If you are up to 15 minutes late, we will use the remaining time for your session. However, if you arrive more than 20 minutes late, the session will be canceled. To ensure the best experience, please plan to arrive on time.
Can I cancel the session?
Please note that once booked, your session's date and time are fixed and cannot be changed. If you cancel, the deposit is non-refundable as your reserved slot prevents us from accepting other bookings and covers preparation time.
What should I bring to the maternity session?
The photoshoot is about documenting your personal pregnancy journey so feel free to bring things like scans, special keepsakes you have from your pregnancy or your own outfits, if you have something prepared for the session.
Can I have more than one outfit for the shoot?
The number of outfits available are accordingly to the package you chose. In the Basic package only one outfit is available, for Standard package 2 outfits and for Premium package up to 3 outfits available.
Do you provide outfits as well?
Yes! I offer a selection of elegant maternity dresses and flowy materials that flatter every bump and body beautifully. These outfits are designed to bring a elegant touch to your maternity portraits. You're also welcome to bring your own outfits if you have something special in mind - whether it's a personal favorite or something meaningful for your session.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, in order for your session to be confirmed, we require a non-refundable £50 deposit which will be included in the final payment.
Are the prices negotiable?
One of the most important thing for me is offering to all my clients the same service and the same treatment. The prices you read are final, which includes not only the time spent taking the photos but also the editing and post-production work to ensure each image is polished and beautiful. I aim to provide a high-quality experience and lasting memories for every family I work with. This rate is a fair price for studio photoshoots and it reflects the quality and dedication I put into each session, as everyone increased their prices I am trying to keep it the same.
When will I receive the photos?
Please note that photos are not edited and provided on the same day. Each image is carefully edited to meet our quality standards and final delivery will take approximately 2 to 6 days depending of the quantity of the pictures chosen.
