Does my child need modelling experience?

No. The session is suitable for children creating their first modelling portfolio as well as children who already work with an agency and need new headshots or updated portfolio images.
What is included in the modelling portfolio session?

The session includes professional studio photography, posing and expression guidance, studio backdrops according to the package selected and professionally edited digital images. The exact number of backdrops and final images depends on the package you choose.
What is the difference between a headshot and a modelling portfolio photo?

A headshot focuses mainly on the face and expression, while a modelling portfolio can include a wider variety of portraits, poses and looks. A combination of both gives agencies and casting professionals a clearer representation of your child.
Do you help children with posing and expressions?

Yes. Guidance is provided throughout the session with posing, posture, angles and expressions. The aim is to create a varied selection of professional portraits while helping your child feel comfortable in front of the camera.
What should my child wear for a modelling portfolio photoshoot?

We recommend simple, well-fitting clothing that keeps the focus on your child. Different outfit options can help create variety in the portfolio. The number of outfit changes should be planned according to the package selected and all changes take place within the allocated session time.
What backgrounds are available for children’s headshots?

Our studio has white, grey, black and coloured backgrounds available. Additionally, custom backgrounds can be added in post-production if you have a specific idea in mind.
How many photographs are taken during the session?

Multiple photographs are taken throughout the session using different expressions, poses and angles so you have a variety to choose from. The number of professionally edited digital images included in the final delivery depends on the package selected.
How do I choose the final photographs?

After the session, you will be able to review the photographs and select your favourite images for professional editing.
Can I purchase additional edited images?

Yes. Additional professionally edited digital images can be purchased for £25 per image if you would like more photographs than those included in your chosen package.
How long does a children’s modelling portfolio session take?

The session length depends on the package selected. Backdrop changes, outfit changes and the photography itself all take place within the allocated session time.
How long does it take to receive the final images?

Photos are not edited and provided on the same day. Each image selected is carefully edited to meet our quality standards. Final delivery will take approximately 2 to 6 days, depending on the quantity of pictures chosen.
Can the photographs be used for modelling agencies and castings?

Yes. The final photographs can be used for your child’s modelling portfolio, agency submissions, casting profiles and other professional portfolio purposes.
Why is a booking deposit required?

When you book your session, we prevent anyone else from taking your slot. In order for your session to be confirmed, we require a non-refundable £30 or £50 deposit according to the package you choose which will be included in the final payment. Please also read our

What happens if I cancel the session?

Once your session is booked, the selected date and time are reserved specifically for you. If the session is cancelled, the booking deposit is non-refundable because the reserved slot prevents another booking and covers preparation time. Please also read our

Can I visit the studio before booking?

Yes, you are welcome to arrange a visit to see the studio. Please contact us before visiting so a suitable time can be arranged.
